HUNTINGTON – W.Va. (WOWK) — For the 27th year in a row, women across the Tri-State came out to the KEE 100 Women’s Luncheon and Expo.
The luncheon, which was held midday Tuesday, was a chance for women to take a well-deserved long lunch and interact with different vendors from the Tri-State area.
The event is held each year to honor the great sacrifices women make on a daily basis to provide for their loved ones; women who sometimes take on several roles at once.
“Women do so much, not just work, not just a physical job, 9 to 5, whatever. We take care of everybody, so this is our way of taking care of women in the Tri-State,” said Jenn of KEE 100. “Women in the Tri-State, I’m telling you what, we do more than our fair share of helping out; and dads do too, you do a lot,” she said to Dave.
Dave and Jenn say it’s really important to cater this day to women, as women are always putting others first before taking care of themselves.
