MILFORD, Ohio (AP) – Several people have been injured in a crash involving a cement truck that crushed a vehicle and damaged motorcycles in Ohio.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Robert Hayslip says the crash happened Tuesday evening in Milford, outside Cincinnati.

Hayslip says the cement truck overturned, trapping a driver in a sedan underneath. He says the driver was extracted and hospitalized in serious condition.

Hayslip says six others suffered minor injuries in the crash. A nearby military surplus store was also damaged.

Images of the scene showed the cement truck on top of a crushed car.

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.

Police have shut down U.S. 50 to clear the area, which Hayslip says will likely take hours.
