Overnight Shooting At Night Club In Charleston

At approximately 2:30 AM on March 18,  2018, officers with the Charleston Police Department responded to the 700 block of Lee St E for a disturbance and shooting call in the area of Chuck City Lounge located at 706 Lee St E.

Two people were shot and their wounds were non life threatening.

The victims were Michelle Dunlap, 41 years old from Charleston, who was shot in the leg and abdomen; and Terrance Reeves, 27 years old from Charleston, who was shot in the back of the leg.

According to the victims, a fight had ensued inside the club.

When they exited, they heard gunfire from the front of club possibly coming from the parking lot across the street.

Officers recovered multiple fired cartridge casings from the scene.

At this time, no one has been charged in this shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Charleston Police Department at 304-348-6480.
