Tips Lead to Suspected Meth Dealer Arrest

FLOYD COUNTY, KY (WOWK) - Floyd County Sheriff Deputies have taken a Prestonsburg woman in for drug trafficking after tips from the public.

Monday night, Deputies responded to a call on their tip line about a green Hyundai Elantra seen selling drugs out of the car in the water gap area. Sgt. Oliver Little spotted a vehicle matching the same description while on patrol in the Dodson Branch area.

Sgt. Little stopped the vehicle and called K-9 to assist in the investigation. Deputies found 6 grams of Crystal Meth, digital scales and more than 100 plastic baggies. A passenger in the vehicle Keisha Robinson, of Prestonsburg, was arrested for Trafficking Crystal Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Tampering with Physical Evidence .

Robinson has been lodged in the Floyd Co Jail.
