UPDATE: Traffic stop escapee arrested

6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 UPDATE:  Larry Good was arrested overnight and booked into the Southern Regional Jail.  Details on his capture were not available. 

Good is charged with driving on a revoked license, obstruction, possession of stolen property and fleeing.  His bond is set at $25,000.

ORIGINAL STORY: State Troopers are asking for help from the community to find a man who ran from a traffic stop.  The suspect was also on home confinement.

Investigators said they pulled over a car with a stolen license plate near the Crab Orchard exit on I-77 at around 12:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018.  That’s when the suspect, Larry Good, ran off into the woods.  Good had a home confinement ankle bracelet.  He cut that off while troopers were chasing after him.

Mr. Good stands 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds.  He has brown hair and green eyes.  Good was wearing a black shirt.  Good may have scratches from running through the woods while trying to get away from troopers. He also has several tattoos, including the following:

  • “Momma” on his right hand
  • “Tried with bars” on his left hand
  • Wizard tattoos on both forearms.
