Washington women’s march

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Streets across the country and around the world flooded with women and allies to advocate for women’s rights and equality.

This year marks the fourth annual Women’s March. More than 250 demonstrations are planned across the United States.

The march began four years ago in the wake of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The rallies have since transformed into a movement to elect more women to public office.
