COVID-19 cases in WV continue to rise

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) confirms 86 new cases of COVID-19 in the Mountain State. The state’s cumulative percent positive test results rate is listed as 1.82%.

As of 5 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2020, the WV DHHR says the state has received 188,875 total confirmatory laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 3,442 total cases, 106 of which are probable. The total includes 829 active cases, 2,518 recoveries and 95 deaths.
