WV Fire Marshal offering reward for information regarding Logan apartment fire

UPDATE (1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 24): According to the City Fire Marshal of Logan, a joint investigation of the Logan Fire Marshal, the WV State Fire Marshal, and the Logan Police Department determined that this fire was intentionally set.

The WV State Fire Marshall is offering a reward of $5,000 to any information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible for the fire.

UPDATE: The Local Fire Department Chief tells 13 News the fire was set on all four floors, leaving firefighters only one way in and out to fight the blaze.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact authorities.

UPDATE: Fire officials say the building is abandoned. There are no reported injuries.
