Fire breaks out in building along Main Street in Madison, WV

A structure fire has been reported along Main Street in Madison. 

Crews responded around 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 22.

A city official says Madison, Danville, Racine, Van Spruce River, and Chapmanville Volunteer Fire Departments responded along with Boone County Ambulance Authority and state and city police.

No injuries have been reported. 

That city official said the building affected by the fire is right in the middle of Main Street, and are made up of businesses at the bottom and apartments on the top floors.

There is no word yet as to the case of the fire.
