Frank Mullens re-elected as South Charleston mayor

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W. Va. (WOWK ) —

Current South Charleston Mayor, Frank Mullens, will keep his position after winning his re-election bid Saturday night.

Mullens has served as South Charleston’s mayor since 2007. This will be his fourth term. Mullens received 67.76 percent of votes to defeat Democrat Ritchie Robb in the mayoral election. 

Several other positions were up for grabs in the South Charleston election. Here are a full list of winners:

  • Municipal judge- Wyatt Hanna with 99.09 percent of votes
  • City clerk- Margie Spence with 98.93 percent of votes
  • City council ward 1- Kent Rymer with 71.76 percent of votes
  • City council ward 2- Mark Wolford with 99.13 percent of votes
  • City council ward 3- Kathleen Fox Walker with 65.25 percent of votes
  • City council ward 4- Chuck Hudson with 51.34 percent of votes
  • City council ward 5- David DiFilippo with 60.71 percent of votes
  • City council ward 6- Robert W. Lilly with 59.49 percent of votes
  • City council ward 7- Jamie Sibold with 55.78 percent of votes
  • City council ward 8- Adam Strider with 51.78 percent of votes
