CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – One person has been injured after being struck by a vehicle in Kanawha County.

According to Kanawha County 911 Metro dispatchers, the incident happened around 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023, in the 3600 block of MacCorkle Avenue SE, in Charleston.

Dispatchers say the pedestrian was taken to a hospital for medical treatment, but there is no word on the extent of their injuries.
