LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) – One local attraction is giving kids something to do while they’re out of school. Lost World Caverns in Lewisburg is offering free admission to West Virginia’s students in support of the teacher walkouts. Adults that accompany these students get 25% off of their ticket, meaning they only have to pay $8.

“This past weekend in particular we realized these kids have been out of school for a week and they’re getting bored. Their parents don’t know what to do with them and we just decided this is a great opportunity. This is something good, somewhat educational and something fun they can do to get them out of their house for a day.” Owner of Lost World Caverns, Steve Silverberg, said.

Since the announcement they have seen a huge increase of students come visit Lost World Caverns. This offer is open to students until the schools open back up.
