CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) – A law enforcement officer in West Virginia says a 30-year-old man died in an electrocution at a job site.

Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Scott Lattea tells The Exponent Telegram in Clarksburg that the death Thursday afternoon appeared to be accidental. The victim wasn’t a West Virginia resident, and Lattea says deputies were working to notify his family.

The incident happened near Kincheloe. Emergency medical workers and fire departments responded to the scene.

Lattea says deputies were still investigating.
