CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — More than 420,000 transactions were made at the three West Virginia Turnpike toll booths over the 2023 Labor Day weekend.
According to the West Virginia Department of Transportation, 422,544 transactions were made across the three toll booths. They said this is in line with estimates.
Here is how many transactions were made each day over the weekend:
- Friday: 142,647
- Saturday: 93,896
- Sunday: 76,082
- Monday (Labor Day): 109,919
