One person has been killed after a head-on crash with a septic truck in Calhoun County.
The crash was reported just before 2 p.m. Friday on Route 16 near Chloe.
According to West Virginia State Police, a car being driven by 39-year-old Jeremy Deal of Sutton crossed the center line in a curve and struck a septic truck head-on.
State Police say Deal was not wearing his seatbelt and was killed on impact.
Two people were inside the septic truck and suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.
The roadway was closed for several hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
