OAK HILL, WV (WVNS) – An investigation is underway after neighbors spotted someone throwing several dogs out of a car window in Fayette County.

Oak Hill Police tell us it happened along Old Minden Store Road around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon.

A witness says someone in a dark blue Chevy Blazer threw four puppies and two dogs from the car’s window. Another person living nearby quickly saved three of the puppies- while the fourth one and the two dogs ran away.

Three puppies were taken into custody by animal control. Officers say they were unable to find the other missing dogs.

Anyone with information on the Chevy Blazer is asked to call the Oak Hill Police Department.
