Putnam County deputies searching for home confinement escapee

According to a media release, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jason D. Cunningham, 39, of Hurricane.

Cunningham is described as a white male, 6’3” tall, weighing 225 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.

The release states that on Wednesday 3 October 2018, Cunningham allowed his bracelet battery to go uncharged and then left his house with an unidentified female. He never reported to the home confinement office for check in as required and he has never returned home or charged the GPS bracelet since, deputies said.

Cunningham was last monitored on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at approximately 2 a.m. and was serving a one-year sentence for driving on revoked operators-DUI Related.

Deputies said Cunningham could possibly be in the Huntington area of Cabell County, West Virginia.
