Quick, Pinch, Dutch Ridge neighbors fed up with litter; plan meeting to address it

West Virginia

A meeting is being planned by neighbors living in several northern Kanawha County communities who are sick and tired of the litter plaguing their region.

According to organizer, Lora Derrix-Mullins, “We can sit and complain on Facebook about our beautiful community being trashed and destroyed or we can stand together, clean it up and take it back.”

The community meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 13 at 7 p.m. inside of the Quick Community Center.

Derrix-Mullins said the meeting is open to all neighbors in the Sanderson, Dutch Ridge, Laurel Fork, and Quick areas, and everyone living along Quick Road to the Pinch/Quick intersection.

No RSVP is necessary, but organizers are hoping for a large turnout.
