Raleigh County man accused of taking and sharing pornographic pictures of young boys

COAL CITY, WV (WVNS) – A Raleigh County man is facing a long list of criminal charges for allegedly taking pornographic pictures of young boys and then sharing the pictures online. 

Deputies arrested Charles Wallace Jr. of Coal City on March 19th, 2019.

Deputies say the investigation started when they received a tip through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Detectives got a search warrant for Charles Larry Wallace Jr.’s home at 2051 Coal City Road in Coal City.

Officers seized several electronics including cell phones and a laptop. 

In an interview with officers, Wallace allegedly admitted to taking pictures of young boys and sharing them with a friend. Wallace also said he has sent pornographic pictures of children to other men through social media. 

Wallace is being held in Southern Regional Jail.
