West Virginia Family Searching for Lost Diabetic Alert Dog

MONTROSE, WV (WBOY) – A Randolph County family is searching for their son’s diabetic alert dog that went missing over the weekend.

Doc, a diabetic support dog for a boy in Randolph County, reportedly went missing on Saturday at approximately 5 p.m. near Landing Creek Road in Montrose. The family said Doc is a solid color fox red lab with a 6-inch balding spot on his chest area. The family also said he weighs approximately 70 pounds and wears a grey flea collar and a blue and green regular collar. Three photos of the dog provided by the family have been attached to this article.

The family is currently offering a cash reward for Doc’s return. Those with tips on Doc’s whereabouts can call 304-614-4505.
