West Virginia House Passes Bill Allowing Sunday Retail Liquor Sales

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The West Virginia House of Delegates has passed a bill that would allow Sunday retail liquor sales in the mountain state.

The bill passed with 86 yes votes, 12 no votes, and two people not voting.

House Bill 2481 would permit retail sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays after 1 PM.

The bill now moves to the West Virginia Senate.
