CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – The West Virginia Senate has passed a bill that increases pay for teachers in the Mountain State.
Teachers, school staff and state police officers will see their starting pay increased by $2,300. The new bill will also give funding to PEIA, the state’s health insurance plan.
The bill goes to the house.
