WWE Hall of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund, 76, Dies

(WOWK) – According to WWE, Gene Okerlund, WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling interviewer, has died at age 76.

In his career,  Okerlund worked for the American Wrestling Association, World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment.

Okerlund became a staple on national cable television by interviewing people like Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, Hulk Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior and many more.
