CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – It’s week nine of the West Virginia high school football season, which means only two weeks left of the regular season.

On the hill, George Washington hosted Spring Valley.

This one had a slower start, tied at zero until Spring Valley snagged a field goal right before halftime.

And that turned out to be an important one, as they won by three the final 17-14.
