UPDATE (2:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 15): Deputy Fire Marshal Jason Baltic told 13 News that a liquid thought to be an accelerant was found at the front door of the apartment complex’s management office.
The liquid has been sent to a lab for analysis.
There is no suspect in this investigation at this time.
DUNBAR, WV (WOWK)—The West Virginia Fire Marshal’s office says that a fire in Dunbar over the weekend was caused by arson.
On Saturday, Feb. 12, four people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to Dunbar Fire Department officials.
Officials said that the fire started at the front door of the apartment building and was put out quickly.
