UPDATE (4:54 p.m. on Saturday, May 27): The Huntington Police Department says a man was shot in the torso in the 700 block of Buffington Street Friday.

They say they have a suspect and are working to get an arrest warrant.

HUNTINGTON, WV (WOWK) — One person was injured in a shooting Friday night in Huntington, Cabell County dispatchers say.

It was reported just after 11 p.m. in the 700 block of Buffington Street.

The extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately clear.

Huntington Police are investigating. EMS and fire crews were also on the scene.
