One person has been injured after a crash in Kanawha County Wednesday evening.
The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. on the 2400 block of Smith Creek Road near Jefferson.
Dispatchers say that a single vehicle struck a telephone pole. Lines are down in that area.
One person was originally entrapped in the crash but was extricated and transported to the hospital.
That patient’s injuries are unknown at this time.
There are no other injuries as a result of the crash.
The Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department and the Tornado Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
